Roman Reigns after losing at WrestleMania 31
At WrestleMania 31 Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns showed why they deserve to compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the grandest stage of them all.
After Lesnar re-signed with WWE at last week’s Raw, WWE officials made a decision of not putting the title on Reigns at WrestleMania, as it would hurt his career in the long run.
Instead, officials went with the plan of Reigns working a very physical match with Lesnar, with the idea being that Reigns would fight till the end and refuse to give up even after getting a brutal beatdown at the hands of Lesnar, which in turn would result in Reigns getting sympathy from the crowd (but as we know, the end plan for the match changed and Rollins cashed-in).
These plans resulted in the fans getting to see very stiff shots from both men, and as we noted Lesnar was busted open within 30 seconds of the match and ended up bleeding profusely during the course of the match.
