4. Sami Zayn Helps Shinsuke Nakamura To Retain The Intercontinental Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura won his first Intercontinental Championship at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view back in July. The King Of Strong Style defeated Finn Balor in an impromptu match on the kick-off show. Since then, Nakamura had only one short feud, which was with Ali.
He had nothing to do until the arrival of Sami Zayn on the blue brand. Nakamura joined forces with the former NXT Champion to take out The Miz. The A-Lister did not take it easy and went on to challenge Nakamura to an Intercontinental Championship match at Clash Of Champions.
The Miz will be looking to win his 9th Intercontinental Championship this Sunday. However, reaching this milestone won’t be an easy task for the A-Lister. With Sami Zayn present ringside, we can expect some interruptions during the match.
Nakamura has dominated this feud so far by beating The Miz down every week. The Artist surely has the upper hand heading into Clash Of Champions this Sunday. Even if The Miz is able to get close to a victory, Sami Zayn won’t let that happen.
