5. The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin Come Face To Face Once Again
After months of speculation, The Rock finally confirmed that he would be returning to SmackDown this Friday when it premieres on FOX.
The Great One last appeared on SmackDown when the show celebrated it’s 15th anniversary. This week, he’ll be there to celebrate its 20th anniversary, which is exactly 5 years since his last appearance on SmackDown.
SmackDown celebrating its 20th anniversary without The Great One would’ve felt incomplete. Him returning will add a lot of star power to the show. The Rock and Triple H were the first two wrestlers to main event SmackDown.
Talking about this week’s SmackDown, The Rock will definitely layeth the SmackDown on some deserving wrestlers and also bring a lot of nostalgia to the show.
The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, two of the greatest rivals in pro wrestling history will be in the same building tonight. There’s a huge possibility that we get a segment between the two.
Although Elias isn’t medically cleared to compete in the ring, we can expect him to be there tonight as well. Elias loves to mock The Great One whenever he gets the chance. So far, he’s only done it in Twitter. This Friday, he may confront The Rock in person.

If Elias tries to step up to The Rock tonight, we can expect him to get hit with a Rock Bottom which the WWE Universe would love to see.
