4. Shane McMahon Loses Power
Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon III will be taking place this week on SmackDown. This time the stipulation will be a ladder match, which is going to be a pretty high stakes bout. If Owens wins, Shane McMahon will lose his job, and if McMahon wins, Owens will lose his job.
Last time the two went head-to-head, Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon despite all the cheap tactics McMahon used. This week, everything will be fair and both wrestlers will go to any extent to save their careers.
The blue brand moving to FOX may prove to be the night fans get what they’ve wanted the whole year. Since FOX wants a “sports feel” on the show, there’s a huge possibility that Shane O’Mac will lose his match tonight and get written off WWE TV.
According to several reports, WWE doesn’t plan to use authority figures on FOX. Moreover, Kevin Owens won’t be written off TV at a time when the company needs top stars to give tough competition to other promotions.
