When – as always – Tony Schiavone gave away the results for the taped WWF RAW IS WAR show on the live edition of WCW Monday Nitro, a large number of viewers switched the channel to see “Mankind” Mick Foley win his first ever World Title.
WCW World Championship wrestling would never win another weekly rating battle for as long as they existed, till its demise in 2001.
