10. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe Wins The WWE Championship

The Samoan Submission Machine had a normal 2019, spending most of the year working the mid-card. He had a feud against Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship which he lost miserably.

Joe was last seen competing in the King Of The Ring semi-finals against Ricochet and King Corbin on the September 9th episode of RAW from Madison Square Garden. He suffered a broken thumb a couple of weeks before it and couldn’t continue to compete after King Of The Ring.

His return is close and big things look imminent for Joe in the coming year. His face turn was hinted this Monday on RAW when he was beaten down by Seth Rollins and AOP.

Joe could win the Royal Rumble and become the top face of RAW to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.

9. Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men just keeps improving every year. He had a pretty good 2019, winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania and then winning the RAW Tag Team Championship alongside Seth Rollins. Strowman also had a very physical encounter with Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel.

There were some disappointing moments for Strowman this year too. He got very close to winning the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at Clash Of Champions, but he came short in the match. The same was the case against AJ Styles for the United States Championship.

After returning from a minor injury, The Monster Among Men has his sights set on the Intercontinental Championship. 2020 may be the year he finally wins his first singles Title by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura.

8. Aleister Black

The Dutch Destroyer is one of the toughest wrestlers in the WWE right now. He has been protected by the creative since his debut this year. However, he hasn’t been used much on the main roster. He only had 2 singles matches on pay-per-view, one against Cesaro and one against Buddy Murphy.

Black is one of the favourite stars of the RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman, which means he’s in good hands. He’s being used sensibly but his usage must increase on TV.

His appearances are increasing gradually which means he may become one of the top guys on RAW next year. In addition, it will be interesting to see how his undefeated streak in singles matches on the main roster will play out in 2020.
