• 1st Episode Of Dark Side Of The Ring Season 4 Confirmed
On an episode of his weekly ‘Grilling JR’ podcast, Old School WWF commentator Jim Ross confirmed that he will be featured in sit-down interviews on the upcoming 4th season of VICE’s famous documentary-series ‘Dark Side of the Ring’.
He also said that one episode of the new season will be about the late, great WWF Legend The Junkyard Dog (Real name: Sylvester Ritter), who passed away way too young in a car accident on June 1st 1998.
Here’s what J.R. had to say:
“I’m going to do something with Evan (Husney) and those Dark Side guys on the Dog, talking about JYD. Of all the people living, through that entire era, I might have a unique outlook on it.
We’re going to record that in the next few days, talk about Dog’s career, what he meant to that company, that territory, and that part of the country. I’m glad to be doing that with those guys, tell the story about The Junkyard Dog.”
Jim Ross has appeared on several Dark Side of the Ring episodes in the past, but originally wasn’t going to appear on the series again after he felt he was misrepresented by the edits on several occasions.
Those issues seem to have been resolved by now though.

This episode was pre-taped in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada and featured matches & interviews on the road to the first ever WrestleMania event.
