• WWF Attitude Era Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
WWF Attitude Era Veteran K-Kwik, now better known as PG-Era WWE Superstar R-Truth (Real name: Ron Killings) celebrates his 47th birthday today.
K-Kwik wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from November 2000 to late 2001, then went to the new founded Total Nonstop Action as Ron “The Truth” Killings, where he became the first black NWA World Heavyweight Champion, before returning to the now renamed WWE in 2008 as R-Truth.

On this day in 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1997’ PPV, that aired shortly after.
This was basically the official Pre-Show of the pay-per-view.
It aired live from the empty arena and featured Jim Ross conducting interviews with Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and WWF World Champion Psycho Sid, as well as a closing segment in which Steve Austin interrupted Dok Hendrix & Todd Pettingill.
