On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 19, 1998, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Spring Stampede 1998’ LIVE on PPV from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

This was the 3rd out of 5 Spring Stampede pay-per-view events that WCW aired between 1994 and 2000.

– Raven’s Rules – WCW United States Heavyweight Championship: Raven defeated Diamond Dallas Page (c)

– No DQ – WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Savage defeated Sting (c)

• 2 RAW Wrestlers Moving To SmackDown

According to PWInsider, former RETRIBUTION members Reckoning (Mia Yim) and Slapjack (Shane Thorne) have been moved from RAW to SmackDown.

No word yet on when they’ll debut on SmackDown or if they’ll keep their RETRIBUTION identity like T-BAR & MACE did.

T-BAR & MACE will stay on RAW, as they are now involved in the feud between Bobby Lashley & Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
