• 2 Signs That Vince McMahon Is Still Influencing Creative Decisions In WWE
While Nick Khan has repeatedly said in interviews that Vince McMahon doesn’t handle the WWE creative anymore, some fans and industry experts find that hard to believe.
The RAW after WrestleMania 39 was reportedly booked by Vince, and many fans complained about the quality of that show on Social Media.
Vince wasn’t backstage at Friday’s SmackDown or this week’s RAW, but it looks like he’s still influencing creative decisions.
On this week’s RAW, the following two things led many fans to believe that Vince is still calling the shots:
1. When Lita was attacked backstage, the commentators said she was taken to a local medical facility. That’s a term that Vince likes to use instead of Hospital. When Triple H took over creative last year, he began using the word Hospital, but that wasn’t the case this past Monday.
2. WWE originally announced that next month’s premium live event in Puerto Rico will be Backlash. However, on this week’s RAW, when Cody Rhodes challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at this PLE, he called it ‘WrestleMania Backlash’, which was the updated name of the Backlash PPV that WWE used in 2021 & 2022, when Vince was in charge.

• Old School WWWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 102nd birthday of Old School WWWF Legend Antonino Rocca (Real name: Antonino Biasetton).
Rocca wrestled for Vince McMahon Sr.’s Capitol Wrestling Corporation (which in 1963 was renamed “World Wide Wrestling Federation”) from 1949 till the 70s.
In 1995, he was posthumously inducted into to WWF Hall of Fame (now known as WWE Hall of Fame) by then World Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion Diesel.
