2 Stars Turn Heel On Cope At AEW Dynasty 2025 (Video)

Tonight’s AEW Dynasty 2025 PPV took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view in Pennsylvania, and the second annual Dynasty PPV.

Anthony Bowens (with Billy Gunn) def. Max Caster

AEW Dynasty 2025 Main PPV Show Results

– Will Ospreay def. Kevin Knight to advance to the next round of the Owen Hart Cup tournament

Ospreay showed respect to Knight after the match.

– Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) (c) (with MVP) def. Big Bill (fka Big Cass in WWE) & Bryan Keith to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

MJF punched Bill with his Dynamite Diamond Ring during the match.

– TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone def. Julia Hart to advance to the next round of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

– Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Pac, & Claudio Castagnoli) (c) def. Rated FTR (Cope, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to retain the AEW Trios Championship

During the ending moments of the match, Wheeler pushed Cope (WWE Hall of Famer Edge) into Dax and then pinned Dax for the win. After the match, Cope & Cash helped up Dax and all 3 men hugged. Cope raised FTR’s hand. Dax then turned heel and laid out Cope with a Piledriver!

Dax brought two steel chairs into the ring for a Con-Chair-To and gave the second chair to Cash, as he wants Cash to hit Cope with it. Cash refused and pushed down Dax.

Cash then picked up Cope and hit Cope with the Shatter Machine along with Dax, thus turning heel as well. FTR then hit a Piledriver on top of a steel chair, followed by two Con-Chair-Tos to the Rated-R Superstar. Cope was taken to the back on a stretcher.

– Chris Jericho (c) def. Bandido in a Title vs. Mask match to retain the ROH World Championship

Jericho hit Bandido with a Baseball Bat behind the referee’s back to pick up the win. Bandido’s family pointed to the referee that Jericho used the bat. Referee restarted the match. Jericho tried to attack Bandido’s female family member, but Bandido laid out Jericho and won the match.

– Adam Cole def. Daniel Garcia (c) to win the TNT Championship

After the match, Cole offered a hand shake to Garcia. Garcia shook his hand and raised Cole’s hand before leaving disappointed. You can watch the finish below:

– Kenny Omega (c) def. Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey in a Triple Threat Match to retain the AEW International Championship

Omega pinned Ricochet to pick up the win. After the match, AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada came out and had a face-off with Omega.

– Jon Moxley (c) def. Swerve Strickland to retain the AEW World Championship

“Hangman” Adam Page interfered in the match and hit Jon Moxley with his finisher. Death Riders members then took out Hangman. The Opps (Samoa Joe, Hook, & Katsuyori Shibata) came out and brawled with Death Riders.

Strickland had Moxley beat, but the lights went off. When the lights came back on, The Young Bucks were there and laid out Strickland. Moxley then pinned Strickland to win the match. Matt & Nick Jackson have returned to help the leader of Death Riders retain the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.
