Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.

• Insider source PWN recently reported that The Lucha Bros, Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix, have signed a multi-year deal with WWE and that they will debut on the WWE main roster soon.

In an update on this situation, PWInsider reports that Lucha Bros remain under contract with All Elite Wrestling, making it legally impossible for them to have signed with WWE.

While there is speculation that they may join WWE once their current deals expire, they are still contracted to AEW for now.

Until their contracts officially end, any negotiations or signings with WWE would not be permissible under legal agreements.

• Otis has won fans over with his strength and humor during his WWE run, notably popularizing his “Oh yeah” catchphrase.

During an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Otis was asked how “Oh yeah” became his signature phrase.

Here’s what the former Mr. Money In The Bank said:

“Since the day I first m@$turbated, brother, yeah, it’s been basically, ‘Oh, yeah’ (laughs).

No, I just love Randy Savage. Randy’s been my number one for obvious reasons, but definitely, would be playing football, the guy off the camera with me, just get a nice hit, ‘Oh, yeah,’ but I wouldn’t say it like Randy sometimes.

I’d make sure it sounded weird if I was on top of you. So if I was pinning you, I’d be like, ‘Oh, f**k yeah. You’re done.’ Oh yeah.”
