Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring WrestleMania 41 and EVOLVE.

• On tonight’s SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defeated Nia Jax via DQ to retain the WWE Women’s Championship, after Candice LeRae interfered and attacked Stratton.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, who was in attendance, saved Tiffany from Candice, but got laid out by Nia.

2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair came out, sat in front of the fallen champion and said the following:

“The Queen chooses you. I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

• WWE EVOLVE will have its own championship when it debuts on Tubi in the U.S. on March 5, airing Wednesdays at 8 PM ET. The first tapings took place in early February, with the next set scheduled for February 21 at the WWE Performance Center.

According to PWInsider, the WWE EVOLVE Championship has already been created and will be introduced at the upcoming tapings.

The show will feature WWE developmental talent and independent wrestlers from the WWE ID program, with Gabe Sapolsky leading creative.

Sapolsky, who previously ran EVOLVE as an independent promotion, oversaw this championship once held by stars like Drew McIntyre, Swerve Strickland, and Zack Sabre Jr.
