On a recent episode of his weekly ‘Kliq This’ podcast, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash spoke about the late Bray Wyatt’s famous WrestleMania 31 match against The Undertaker in 2015.
The Undertaker defeated The Eater of Worlds via pinfall after 15 minutes and 12 seconds, and took his then WrestleMania record to 22-1 (this was Taker’s first match after The Streak ended).
Kevin Nash, however, stated that he believes the wrong man won that night.
Here’s what Big Daddy Cool had to say:
“He was on a different plane, they were so different. It was a believable gimmick and the thing was, and I will say it to the day I die, if you weren’t gonna put over Bray at WrestleMania against The Undertaker.
I was at that show and it was time. He was the chosen one and it would have put him over the top and he didn’t win. I think his push kind of took a sh*t. You could have raised the stock in Bray.”
Bray Wyatt – the son of WWF Legend IRS aka Mike Rotunda – passed away from a heart attack in his sleep on August 24th 2023.
The Undertaker retired from professional wrestling at the WWE Survivor Series 2020 pay-per-view, after performing the character on WWF/WWE TV for 30 years, ever since his official debut during the WWF Survivor Series 1990 PPV.
Undertaker and Bray had another televised match, but it was a tag team match, which took place at Survivor Series 2015, where The Brothers Of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane) defeated The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper).
