3. Chad Gable vs. Baron Corbin
The King Of The Ring Tournament finally found its 21st winner last week on RAW when Baron Corbin defeated Chad Gable in a very physical match. Corbin, the favourite to win the tournament, proved everyone right and won the final by putting Gable, the underdog, down with a spectacular End Of Days.
Gable finally got the opportunity to prove himself in the tournament and got very close to getting his moment. However, his dreams were shattered by King Corbin.
The final of the King Of The Ring was just the starting of a feud between the two wrestlers. This past week on SmackDown, Gable interrupted Corbin’s coronation ceremony and beat him down before he could properly celebrate his win.
Corbin & Gable faced each other in a rematch this week on RAW and Corbin escaped by getting disqualified.
This feud will most likely lead to a match between The King and his rival at Hell In A Cell 2019 PPV next month.
