2. Ali vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – Intercontinental Championship Match
It looks like Ali is going to get a proper Intercontinental Championship feud which has been due since the summer.
Shinsuke Nakamura reignited his rivalry with Ali a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown. Ali, who has a good record against The Artist, was brutalized by the champion even before their scheduled match could start. The following week on SmackDown, Nakmaura defeated Ali with some help from Sami Zayn.
Ali and Nakamura faced off in several matches this past summer where Ali even pinned him in one of the matches. However, their rivalry did not proceed further after Nakamura successfully defended his title against Ali at WWE SmackVille.
With Nakamura constantly getting away by using cheap tactics against Ali, there are still chances that the two have another match which will have a proper ending.
Moreover, Ali might work a big match at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 as WWE tends to push him whenever they go to Saudi Arabia. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he wins his first Intercontinental Title at Crown Jewel, as original plan for him was to head into WWE Super ShowDown as the WWE Champion earlier this year.
