The WCW Legend hasn’t been seen in the ring since his brutal encounter with Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam earlier this year. He had a pretty disappointing match with The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown back in June which he wanted to “erase” from memory by squashing The Showoff at SummerSlam.
The WWE Universe could witness Goldberg inside the squared circle once again as he said in a recent interview that he’s not done with wrestling yet.
Slice Wrestling is reporting that Vince McMahon and the WWE Hall of Famer are having discussions regarding Goldberg’s return to WWE for a match at WrestleMania 36.
The former World Heavyweight Champion will have multiple options to go for if he returns on the road to WrestleMania. The wrestlers that are currently being discussed for a WrestleMania 36 program with Goldberg are Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman.
WWE could also go for Dolph Ziggler and Matt Riddle as other potential opponents for Goldberg. Ziggler and Goldberg teased the continuation of their feud when they had a scripted altercation in Las Vegas. On the other hand, Riddle has been pushing for a match with Goldberg for a while.
A match against The Undertaker can also not be counted out as Goldberg said in an interview with Steve Austin on the Broken Skull Sessions that he owes The Deadman a receipt.
