The Phenomenal One got a dominating victory over Cedric Alexander on the Clash Of Champions kickoff show to retain his United States Championship. He got his second consecutive win against Alexander on the season premiere of RAW to end their feud.
However, we may see Alexander getting another shot at the United States Championship since he has started to gain momentum once again after the Draft. Contrary to the reports of Vince McMahon deciding to bury him, Alexander has been appearing constantly on RAW and has even registered several wins on the red brand.
Although AJ Styles defeated him twice to finish the feud, he may re-ignite it at Crown Jewel. He’ll most probably compete in the 20-Man Battle Royal and may even win it since he’s one of Paul Heyman’s favourite wrestlers.
Besides, WWE hasn’t built any proper feud for the United States Championship in a while so they may just have Styles vs. Alexander again at Crown Jewel this Thursday.
