Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Championship was history in the making, but let’s be honest, the WWE Championship isn’t as prestigious right now as it once was.
A majority of WWE fans consider Kingston a mid-carder at best, and that’s where he really is on top of his game. Kingston can’t just work with every wrestler in the main event scene. Orton winning the WWE Title will automatically restore its lost prestige.
Randy Orton as heel is one of the best things ever in pro wrestling. The merciless character Orton has just makes him look like an opponent who can’t be defeated very easily. Orton did some creepy things to Jeff Hardy during their rivalry last year, which showed how evil he can get.
Every year, Orton just brings a new element to his character, which make the fans wanting him more on their TV screens. He’s arguably the most over heel in WWE right now.
The guy can carry SmackDown on his shoulders for a long time. WWE needs to give this guy the ball and let him run with it.
With the WWE Championship around his waist, Randy Orton, whether face or heel, will be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming months.
