1. To Reduce The Number Of Matches At WWE Clash Of Champions

The Clash Of Champions pay-per-view is expected to be a long event. It will most probably go on for more than four hours. WWE has announced that all Championships will be defended at the event. It looks like they want to reduce the number of matches at the event to make it less time consuming.
From what I’ve noticed, WWE is trying to make their pay-per-view events shorter. SummerSlam was expected to be a very long event, but WWE had a limited number of matches at the show, and ended it sooner than expected.
We might get to see a 2 on 3 Handicap match between The OC and Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, with all titles on the line. This will help WWE to reduce a few matches on the card, which will also reduce the running time of the event.
Moreover, as the in-charge of RAW, Paul Heyman is planning to run long-term feuds, so this might be another reason why WWE might put Rollins and Strowman in a tag team match at Clash Of Champions, and have a singles bout between them later.
