4 Wrestlers Who Could Join SmackDown After The Draft

Bray Wyatt The Fiend SmackDown

3. Brock Lesnar

Since making his return in 2012, Brock Lesnar has been a special attraction in the WWE. The company uses him several times a year, but whenever he appears, one thing is for sure, the WWE Universe is always excited to see what he would bring to the table.

Lesnar is one of the biggest crowd pullers in the wrestling and MMA world which is why there’s no surprise that FOX has asked WWE to bring him on SmackDown. Moreover, FOX reportedly wants a “sports feel” on the blue brand and Lesnar is the most legitimate athlete in WWE today.

It looks like Lesnar making his return to the blue brand after such a long time will finally take place in the coming weeks. The seeds for a potential run on SmackDown were already planted when he and Paul Heyman showed up on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago to challenge Kofi Kingston to a WWE Title match at SmackDown’s 20th Anniversary.

Lesnar vs. Kingston has a clear winner. Although the WWE Champion went against all odds and got some shocking victories this year, a win against The Beast Incarnate looks very unlikely. Lesnar will most probably win his 5th WWE Championship next Friday to kick off the new era of SmackDown.

WWE will fire from all cylinders to get a boost in the show’s viewership. Making Brock Lesnar the WWE Champion on SmackDown’s first episode on FOX will surely be a move WWE will be willing to make. Not only will it bring a huge change to the blue brand, but it will also be a clever way to move The Beast to SmackDown.
