PWInsider recently reported that an individual believed to be stalking Liv Morgan was arrested outside the WWE Performance Center on June 3rd. The report also mentioned that the arrest wasn’t carried out by local police, but instead by a “much larger agency.” The man who got arrested is Shawn Chan (age 41). He is being held on federal charges.

Scott Johnson accessed federal documents and revealed more details about this incident on Going Ringside. Chan left Ontario, Canada in late May after telling border officials he planned to stay at the WWE Performance Center. Instead, he appeared at Morgan’s private residence. Surveillance cameras captured him wandering around her property on May 31, attempting to locate spare keys and eventually picking up an air rifle from her porch. The weapon, capable of firing high-speed metal pellets, was held by Chan as he lingered there for over two hours.

Before departing, he left a handwritten note among Morgan’s packages. Though the message initially seemed harmless, describing his visit as merely “friendly,” investigators uncovered a far more unhinged tone once they examined the full text.

According to Johnson, the note referenced an online game called FFII (Final Fantasy II), where Chan claimed Morgan and other WWE stars had been communicating with him for years. In his rambling statements, he accused them of invading his privacy, disrespecting him, and making him look like a stalker while he insisted he was simply trying to reach out.

The note also revealed Chan’s paranoia and resentment, as he threatened to ignore any efforts to silence him and declared he no longer cared about those he believed had wronged him.

Liv Morgan told investigators she had no idea who Chan was and denied any connection to him.

Once taken into custody, two bottles of liquid with Chinese writing on them were located in Chan’s possession. When asked what the liquids were, Chan stated they were medicines, one of which was to treat injuries such as bleeding.
