3. Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax – RAW Women’s Championship
Asuka won the Women’s Money In The Bank 2020 ladder match, which turned out to be for the RAW Women’s Championship (due to Becky Lynch’s pregnancy), so she was crowned the new champion.
Since then, Asuka has defeated Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair in singles match to retain the RAW Women’s Championship.
While Asuka made Charlotte tap out, her win over Nia wasn’t convincing (as it involved the referee doing a fast count after Nia pushed him).
Asuka will be facing Sasha Banks at Extreme Rules, where she will most likely retain. After that, it looks like Nia will challenge Asuka again. Since Nia attacked Charlotte and wrote her off WWE TV with a kayfabe injury, expect Charlotte to get involved as well.
Word going on is that we’ll get a Triple Threat Match for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
