2. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels – WWF In Your House 18: Badd Blood (October 5, 1997)
This was the very first and the Original Hell in a Cell Match and it turned out to be a true classic, for various different reasons.
After the Chaos during the ‘WWF In Your House 17: Ground Zero’ PPV Main Event with almost the entire Heel Locker Room interfering, this match was originally designed to keep the 2 competitors in and at the same time keep everybody else out. At a time were the World Wrestling Federation was losing the Monday Night Wars every single week, the 2 Superstars were highly motivated to give us their everything during thei Main Event Encounter.
Shawn took one crazy OMG Bump, by falling down from the outside cage-wall, right through the announcers table. For months Paul Bearer had been teasing, that The Undertaker’s little brother Kane was alive and did not die in the fire when they were still kids.
And right when the Fans thought The Undertaker had the match won, we saw one of the greatest Debuts in Professional Wrestling History: The Debut of Kane!
