1. The Hollywood Backlot Brawl: WWF WrestleMania XII – March 31, 1996
Originally this was booked to be the big match where Razor Ramon would get his win back without taking the Intercontinental Championship back from Goldust (due to it being a non-title Hardcore Brawl).
But Vince McMahon changed his mind after Razor was not only being tested positive for drug use, but also his plans to leave for Ted Turner’s WCW have leaked. The replacement turned out to be WWF President “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and they made this match a true classic for the ages, including quite a few stunts by the 2 performers.
Despite losing the match, the sheer awesomeness of the match still made it the #1 Moment of Goldust’s career.
