WWF RAW IS WAR – November 23, 1998
Before turning into the goofy Comedy Character ‘Gillberg’ in December of 1998, Duane Gill has been an Enhancement Talent in the World Wrestling Federation since 1990.
The thing was, he has never won a single match on WWF Television before, that was until that Night on RAW in November of 1998, when he would beat Christian in an upset, to win the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.
He did have a little help tho, when his Stable, “The J.O.B. Squad” intefered on his behalf. Nonetheless a surprise victory by someone who has never been anything more than a Jobber up to that night.
