5 nWo Associates Who Never Became Full Members

1. Ric Flair

Wait a minute … “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was associated with the nWo? The group he legitimately hated, not just on TV but in real life aswell?

It’s true and it all happened in the spring of 2002, when the nWo’s last official incarnation was a regular faction on WWF/E TV.

The Nature Boy became an associate member of the nWo, when he turned on Austin during a 6 man Tag match on RAW.

As the (storyline) owner of RAW, Flair controled the nWo and after Scott Hall was fired and Kevin Nash was still out with an injury, it left the nWo downsized to Big Show and X-Pac, so Ric was sort of a leader for a few weeks, eventho he never officially joined them as a member.

It was Ric Flair, who brought Booker T into the nWo, but his assocation with the group ended shortly thereafter, when “Stone Cold” Steve Austin left the WWE, “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash returned to TV and Shawn Michaels took over the nWo as the new ‘official’ leader.
