5 Reason Why Fans Hate Roman Reigns

3. Fans want to cheer for Cruiserweight wrestlers

Daniel Bryan is a legit cruiserweight

Lets face the fact, if the Cruiserweight title was still around, half of the roster would be competing in that division (including multiple main-event wrestlers). Pro-Wrestling is a big man sport. Small guys also compete in this business, but having a 200 lbs guy beat a 300 lbs guy look believable? Most of the people would say yes, and the reason that they would give is because the 200 lbs guy can “wrestle”. So that means you’re implying that the big guys can’t “wrestle”, which is false.

The techinical style & high-flying style are not the only styles of pro-wrestling, there are other styles as well which includes “Powerhouse Wrestling Style”. But most of the fans nowadays say that powerhouse wrestlers are boring because they don’t jump in and out of the ring, don’t pull out submission moves and all those things. Do you really expect a powerhouse wrestlers to do all these things? As the name suggests, powerhouse wrestlers are supposed to do power moves. But we old schoolers can understand why the modern era fans hate powerhouse wrestler, as they don’t know what power and strength are. They might know something about power in video games like WWE 2K but in real life, not a thing. Maybe the reason fans nowadays support cruiserweights over everyone else is because they can connect with them in size and strength. I’m not trying to imply that being small is bad but saying “big wrestlers suck” is just stupid and ignorant.

Now with that being said, fans say Roman Reigns is boring. They even question why Reigns is in the WWE. Well, people saying Reigns is boring is not a fact, but their opinion, and they are entitled to it. But promoting your opinion as a fact is not cool. Don’t like Roman Reigns or big guys in general? Then go ahead, boo them. But giving ignorant reasons to support your opinion is not right.
