1. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
Like Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin also kept his word when he said, he was never going to wrestle again, after his last professional wrestling match at WrestleMania XIX in 2003.
Only with Steve it was different as he had severe neck issues, dating back to the SummerSlam 1997 PPv, where Owen Hart injured him with a botched reverse piledriver and Austin almost got paralzyed.
In various 2009-2012 Interviews, he stated tho that neither his neck nor his knees are causing problems anymore, and – if he wanted to – he’d be in shape to do a match.
Judging by these interviews, “Stone Cold” just can’t motivate himself anymore to do a match, but if Vince offers him even more millions to do another match, than he tried to offer him in the past, who knows, we might see Steve Austin wrestle again!?!
