3. Roderick Strong Wins The NXT North American Championship

The Velveteen Dream is one of the most talented wrestlers in WWE right now. During his two year run in NXT, he has got over with the fans in an impressive way. Winning the NXT North American Championship from Johnny Gargano just added more star-power to his character.

The North American Championship has never felt more prestigious than it has with The Dream holding it. He has had some classic matches with the likes of Matt Riddle, Pete Dunne and even Tyler Breeze.

Recently at NXT Takeover: Toronto, Dream retained his title in a triple-threat match against Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne. However, Strong denied the defeat as Dunne was the one who got pinned by the champion.

The Messiah of The Backbreaker strongly believes that he was cheated out of the one-on-one championship match that he rightfully earned. After provoking Dream for the past few weeks, the two will finally lock horns tonight in a one-on-one bout.

There’s a huge possibility that Strong wins the title to fulfil The Undisputed Era’s prophecy. Dream has been the champion for almost the whole of 2019 so it might be time he finally drops the title.

Moreover, it will put over The Undisputed Era even more as they are arguably the best thing going on in NXT right now. Every member of the faction carrying a title will strongly appeal with the hardcore NXT fans and bring a huge surprise to the table on the first episode of NXT on the USA Network.
