1. Kevin Owens Returns To NXT
Kevin Owens’ good luck ended last week on SmackDown when Shane McMahon returned to replace Elias in the King Of The Ring Tournament. McMahon faced Chad Gable in the semi-final of the tournament with Owens as the special guest referee.
However, Owens could not help McMahon in winning the match which led to Shane McMahon firing him from the blue brand.
Last night on SmackDown, Owens said that he had filed a case of $25 million against Shane O’Mac for firing him wrongfully. If Owens wins, he will not only come back, but also fire Shane McMahon.
Owens’ future in the WWE is uncertain until the case is solved. There’s a huge possibility that he competes on NXT until the case is solved. He might show up tonight as he hinted it on Twitter.
Owens’ appearance will be beneficial for NXT as it will help the brand to pull higher ratings on the USA Network. It will also be pretty nostalgic for the long time NXT fans.
