4. Hulk Hogan Participating in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
WWE’s goal for WrestleMania 32 is to break their all time attendance record, which was made at WrestleMania 3.
For this to happen, WWE’s plan was to bring-in as many big names as possible. One of the plan was for Hulk Hogan to work his final WWE match, which would have drawn a lot of Old School Wrestling fans to make a comeback to watching the current product, thus resulting in an increase in WWE Network subscriptions and Hulkamaniacs piling up in the AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 32.
The plan was for Hulk Hogan to compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and possibly win it. This would’ve been a great send-off to the biggest name in Professional Wrestling history. Also, Hogan would have to taken very less bumps in this kind of match and just throw other wrestlers out.
However, Hulk Hogan got released from WWE last summer due to the controversy he was involved in. Hogan would eventually return to WWE when his lawsuit with Gawker (the company which released Hogan’s s*x tape) is over, but this won’t happen before WrestleMania 32.
