3. Update on Kurt Angle’s Future in TNA Wrestling
On last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle came out and announced that he has a tumor in his neck and he needs a surgery soon. He’s expected to take some time off from TNA. Some people were speculating that this was a storyline, but it’s not.
Kurt Angle knew about the tumor for almost a year, but lately it has been causing him some issues leading to muscle atrophy, which is why he’s now opting to have the surgeryto removed the tumor from his neck. This is the reason why he’s not booked for any match at tonight’s TNA Slammiversary 2015.
During his promo last night, Angle noted that that he will get his TNA World Title re-match sometime later. He did get his rematch against EC III at the recent tapings but it ended in a DQ.
