3. Jeff Hardy Celebrates His Intercontinental Championship Win, AJ Styles Interrupts
Last Friday on SmackDown, Jeff Hardy defeated AJ Styles to win his fifth Intercontinental Championship. However, Hardy played a little dirty (like Styles did earlier that night) and used his knee brace to win the Title.
Hardy is expected to celebrate his victory tonight, but it may be crashed by the former Champion. The Hardy/Styles feud will probably continue, as The Phenomenal One’s reaction showed that he hasn’t given up on the Title just yet.
There wasn’t an Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam, so expect it to happen between Hardy and Styles at Payback.
Styles may even attack The Charismatic Enigma, which would lead to their match being announced for Payback.
