2. Sasha Banks Returns
As we have noted before, the return of former RAW Women’s Champion “The Boss” Sasha Banks to WWE programming is imminent and that WWE officials are just waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.
According to Brad Shepard, Sasha Banks is set to return to WWE programming this week:
“According to a source in WWE, Sasha Banks will be in town for SummerSlam ‘weekend’ in Toronto.
I say SummerSlam ‘weekend’ because Sasha is scheduled to return at SummerSlam, Raw or SDLive. Which show is still not 100%, but that will be finalized today.”
Sasha could return to challenge “The Man” Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship as Becky recently took shot at Sasha during a recent interview.
During a Sky Sports Facebook Q&A, RAW Women’s Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch was asked if she would like to face “The Boss” Sasha Banks.
Below is what Becky said:
“Oh yeah, if Sasha Banks could just hack it and she didn’t grab her jacket and she’s off crying like Ronda Rousey then I’d love to face her. Unfortunately, she couldn’t take losing. She lost the tag team championship and she was gone — she was gone! Some people can’t hack losing. They can’t step up and they can’t realize it’s just a chance to get better it’s a chance to learn and it’s a chance to grow.
Instead, she wants to talk about the freaking winds and the butterflies and the cocoons and I’m a rabbit that’s coming from the earth and the soil and whatever she wants to put on her little social media — come fight me Sasha, if you want it!”
