AJ Styles defeated United States Champion Ricochet clean in a singles match last week on RAW. Following his win, WWE announced a US Title match between the two at the Extreme Rules PPV.
His reunion with The Club caused excitement among the fans. There are rumors that the former WWE Champion will soon turn heel to bring a much needed change to his character. The Club with Styles is the opportunity WWE needed. They can pull the trigger anytime now.
WWE never goes with a face vs. face feud for a long time, so expect someone to turn soon. It’s been a while since AJ Styles lost the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan and hasn’t been in a worthwhile feud since then.
His last big match against Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank was well received by the WWE Universe but perhaps, it’s time for The Phenomenal One to switch gears and let his dark side out.
