5 Things That Shouldn’t Happen At Tonight’s Extreme Rules 2018

Kevin Owens vs. Braun Strowman Extreme Rules 2018

4. Braun Strowman Destroying Kevin Owens

Mr. Money In The Bank Braun Strowman will face former Universal Champion Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage match on tonight’s Extreme Rules 2018 PPV.

Strowman has been beating the crap out of Owens for a few weeks now and if (or when) Strowman wins tonight, it would hardly be a shock to the fans.

However, Owens losing once again is really bad because when was the last time Owens won a match on a PPV?

Below is Owens’ WWE PPV record for 2018:

Royal Rumble: Lost to AJ Styles in a WWE Championship Handicap match.

FastLane: Lost to AJ Styles in a WWE Championship 6 Pack Challenge match.

WrestleMania 34: Lost to Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan in a Tag Team match.

Greatest Royal Rumble: Lost the 50 Man Royal Rumble match.

Backlash: Lost to Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley in a Tag Team match.

Money In The Bank: Lost the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match.

Looking at Owens’ stats for the above 6 PPV events, it’s time Owens picks up a PPV win.

After all, WWE officials view him as a top heel in the company and a win over Braun Strowman (who is the next big thing in the WWE) would solidify that status for Owens.

Also, their match tonight will be a Steel Cage match, so Owens winning via escaping the cage would boost his momentum big time and wouldn’t hurt Strowman either.
