4. The Berzerker
In 1992 The Undertaker feuded with The Berzerker, a former AWA Wrestler known as ‘Nord The Barbarian’, now portraying a Viking Gimmick. Although never facing each other on PPV, they did had quite a few singles & tag team matches on TV and on House Shows. Out of their feud, 1 particular incident stands out for being very controversial and somewhat shocking during that era.
That’s when on the April 25, 1992 episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling, The Berzerker tried to kill The Undertaker with his sword. Taker moved and the Sword got stuck in the ring instead.
Had that happened during the days of the Attitude Era, it wouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone, but mind you, this was during the early 90s when something like that was unheard of on WWF Television.
Despite this memorable incident, The Berzerker failed to get over and was gone from the World Wrestling Federation just a couple months later.
