4. Apollo Crews
When he showed up in NXT, Apollo Crews became the favourite of many in the WWE Universe due to his amazing skills in the ring. With the look of a powerhouse, Crews can also work as a pretty good high-flyer inside the ring.
Crews had some decent matches with the likes of Baron Corbin, Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze in NXT. He even challenged Finn Balór for the NXT Championship, but failed to capture it.
Just when Crews was rising as a star in NXT, WWE brought him to the main roster after WrestleMania 32 in 2016. He got some big wins on the main roster and was even involved in a feud for the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. However, he lost his momentum soon and got lost in the shuffle.
If WWE would’ve given him some more time in the developmental, he could’ve become a big name on the main roster. He’s rarely seen on WWE programming. The company can still give him a few years in NXT which will help him to develop his character significantly.
