4. John Morrison Joins Team NXT
John Morrison’s return has been speculated ever since PWInsider reported that he finalized a deal with WWE. However, Morrison and his wife Taya Valkyrie have denied all such claims.
The 5-men team for both RAW and SmackDown has been announced. However, NXT is keeping their 5 men a secret until the Survivor Series Kickoff Show (where WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will reveal it). While their whole team is unknown, Morrison is not being expected to be a part of it.
WWE could pull a swerve tonight and bring out Morrison as one of the members of Team NXT. His return will will make this brand war very memorable and bring a whole new level of unpredictability to the WWE.
Since leaving WWE in 2011, Morrison wrestled in different promotions including Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground which has made him a bigger deal than he was back in 2011.
