4. Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan
WWE has surprised the fans this year by leaving a lot of top talent off of the SummerSlam match-card this year. Two of the biggest names in WWE, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, who were doing major things on the road to SummerSlam, haven’t been announced to have a match tonight on PPV.
Roman Reigns was attacked by a mysterious personality twice over the past couple of weeks. First, someone tried to bury him below the Forklift, and when that failed, he tried to run over Reigns with a car. The Big Dog finally found out at this week’s SmackDown that the person who had been attacking him was Rowan.
Reigns was rumored to face Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, but the match hasn’t been announced yet. WWE should just scrap the plan, and not go for this bout at the event.
The rivalry just started this week, and it hasn’t got enough build-up. Reigns vs. Bryan has the potential to be a classic rivalry, if WWE builds it up properly. Knowing Vince McMahon, he might set it up as an impromptu match this Sunday, but hopefully, WWE waits for the right time to do it.
