1. The O.C. Helps AJ Styles In Retaining The US Title Against Humberto Carrillo
Although he could not do much on 205 Live, Humberto Carrillo announced his arrival on the main roster in fashion when he faced Seth Rollins on the first RAW after the 2019 Draft. He had a pretty great match with the Rollins, which earned him respect of The Beast Slayer.
Carrillo won the 20-Man Battle Royal at Crown Jewel and put on a hell of a contest with The Phenomenal One later that night. However, he lost the match in the end. Carrillo and Styles have faced off twice with Styles being 2-0 against him so far.
Two weeks ago on RAW, Carrillo teamed up with Randy Orton and Ricochet to face The O.C. in a 6 Man Tag Team match. He got the win for his team by pinning the United States Champion.
After getting a pinfall over Styles, Carrillo has earned a United States Championship match and it will happen on tonight’s RAW.
However, we might get an unclear finish on RAW and this could lead to a gimmick rematch at TLC 2019, like a Ladder match.
