1. Edge Wins The Men’s Royal Rumble Match
The Men’s Royal Rumble match is going to be very unpredictable this year, as a lot of big names who could be in the WWE or Universal Championship picture very soon are going to participate in it.
The confirmed names for the match so far are Edge, SmackDown Tag Team Champion Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Mustafa Ali, Jeff Hardy, Cesaro, Otis, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sheamus, AJ Styles, Jey Uso, John Morrison, Mr. Money In The Bank The Miz, United States Champion Bobby Lashley, Daniel Bryan, Intercontinental Champion Big E, Randy Orton, Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
The wrestlers who could challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns are Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Big E and Edge.
Bryan, Nakamura and Big E already have beef with Reigns, so they don’t need to win the Royal Rumble to build the feud.
On the other hand, Edge can also challenge WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, along with Sheamus and a surprise entrant like Brock Lesnar.
Since Nakamura and Sheamus aren’t mega stars in the company, them winning another Royal Rumble is unlikely. Big E will probably be busy with the Intercontinental Championship heading into WrestleMania.
Bryan has good chances of winning, but he can just challenge Reigns without a big win because they’ve already been in a feud over the past few months.
Lesnar winning to get a rematch against McIntyre is also a possibility since fans will be back at WrestleMania 37, and he’s a major attraction.
It seems like that Edge will win the Royal Rumble to celebrate the one year anniversary of his return, since he doesn’t have any other angles he could be a part of, as Randy Orton is busy with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
