4. Mustafa Ali Returns
Mustafa Ali hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since December of 2019. His last televised match was against The Revival, which he lost while pairing up with Shorty G.
While Ali continued working dark matches after that, he wasn’t brought on TV even once. The reason behind it is unknown.
It’s been 4 months, and it might be time that he returns to the blue brand. As seen over the past couple of months, the glitch on SmackDown is highly speculated to be related to him in some sort of way.
The message given says “The truth will be heard”. Ali has always been on the side of truth, and looked to shine the light to expose injustice. In addition, the circular patterns that appear on the screen are very much similar to the light that Ali displays on his wrestling gear.
The person behind the glitch made his first appearance on SmackDown last week. He didn’t reveal his identity, but he exposed the truth about Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler. Ali could return as that mysterious character tonight.
One thing to note is that he recently shared an update about his physique on Instagram. Perhaps, he went off TV to work on it and return as a bigger character. He looks ready to go, and WWE might pull the trigger on his return tonight.
