1. Rhea Ripley Attacks Charlotte Flair
The Queen won her first ever Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view last month to earn the right to challenge a champion of her choice at WrestleMania 36 in April.
Flair was confronted by NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, who claimed that she had two wins over her, while Flair had never defeated her, at a time when Flair was claiming that she had won all the gold and had defeated everyone. She was also taken out by Ripley and Bianca Belair when she appeared on NXT.
At last night’s NXT Takeover: Portland, Flair showed up after the NXT Women’s Title match between Ripley and Belair. She beat down both women and accepted Ripley’s challenge to face her at WrestleMania.
Now that their rivalry has officially begun, things will heat up quickly between them. It’s likely that the NXT Women’s Champion will strike back tonight.
PWInsider has confirmed that Ripley is backstage for tonight’s RAW, so expect a confrontation between the two women.
