5. The IIconics Become 2-Time Women’s Tag Team Champions
Sasha Banks & Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross to become 2-Time Women’s Tag Team Champions last week on SmackDown, which was quite surprising.
The Title win is obviously just another way WWE is using to proceed towards a feud between Banks and Bayley, so they won’t hold them for too long. There’s a possibility that they end up dropping them as soon as this Sunday.
Bliss and Cross just had a run with the Titles, so we can count them out of winning the match. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce will most likely become 2-Time Women’s Tag Team Champions and continue their feud with Bliss and Cross, but the gold would be with them this time.
4. Braun Strowman Retains The Universal Championship
The Monster Among Men will have his second defense of the Universal Championship against the team of John Morrison and The Miz in a 2-On-1 Handicap match at Backlash this Sunday.
WWE rarely crowns Tag Teams with singles Titles in this era, so the chances of Miz and Morrsion winning are very low. Besides, this was just a filler feud because WWE doesn’t have any proper opponent for Braun Strowman right now, and Bray Wyatt has also taken time off from WWE due to the birth of his daughter.
So expect Strowman’s reign to continue after he defeats The A-Lister and The Guru Of Greatness at Backlash.
