2. Asuka Retains The RAW Women’s Championship
Asuka will put her RAW Women’s Championship on the line against Nia Jax at this Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view.
As she won the Title just a month ago, it’s unlikely that she’ll drop it. Besides, WWE won’t put the Title on Jax because they won’t have any proper feuds for her if she wins it.
The seeds for a feud between the RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and Charlotte Flair were already planted over the past two weeks, so expect her to retain the Title.
If WWE is planning to hold back on Flair vs. Asuka till SummerSlam, then we could see Jax beating down Asuka after the match, leading to a rematch between them at Extreme Rules.
To protect Jax and set up a rematch, WWE could also go with their infamous roll-up finish in this match.
