6. Andrade Celebrates His United States Championship Victory, Humberto Carrillo Returns
The month of December has been no less than a rollercoaster ride for the new United States Champion. Andrade went from almost parting ways with Zelina Vega to winning his first singles Title in WWE at the Madison Square Garden.

A couple of weeks ago on RAW, Andrade lost in what was an upset against Humberto Carrillo. El Idolo had everything under control until Vega tried to help him like every time.
When she was on the apron, Andrade mistakenly ran into her and Carrillo took advantage and got the win. The two men faced off in a rematch at TLC, where Andrade lost again. He blamed his loss on Vega and walked out on her after the match.
Andrade crossed paths with Carrillo once again two weeks ago in a Gauntlet Match to become the #1 contender for the United States Title. Carrillo and Andrade were the last two and the match ended when Carrillo couldn’t continue to compete after Andrade hit him with a Hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete floor.
El Idolo defeated Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at the Madison Square Garden during WWE’s Holiday Tour. He and Vega will surely celebrate tonight, but Carrillo could return to ruin their celebration. After all, it may have been Carrillo who would’ve faced Mysterio if Andrade hadn’t injured him.
