1. Brock Lesnar’s Opponent At Royal Rumble Is Revealed
The Beast Incarnate is about to cross 100 days as the WWE Champion. After defeating Kofi Kingston for the Title at SmackDown’s premiere on FOX, Lesnar only defended the Title twice. He defeated Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel and Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series.
Lesnar was last seen on WWE programming at Survivor Series where he managed to escape from a close loss against Rey Mysterio. With Royal Rumble less than a month away, Lesnar’s next appearance is expected to be soon. He is expected to defend the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble.
There’s a possibility that his next opponent will be revelaed tonight. Some names being tossed around are Cain Velasquez, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Ricochet. WWE could go with some sort of multi-man match to determine Lesnar’s next opponent.
Tonight will be the right time to announce his challenger as it will leave the fans wanting more and the first RAW of 2020 could also get a spike in viewership. In addition, WWE will get sufficient time to build up the match.
