While the original “Legion of Doom” (The Road Warriors) is arguably considered the very best Tag Team of all time, there was no way WWE could replace Hawk.
But they tried. Road Warrior Heidenreich did an excellent job as Animals Partner, the team wasn’t bad at all, but Hawk’s shoes eventually were too big to fill, which is why most Fans rather forget about this LOD reincarnation.
